This highly efficient filtration system reduces most common contaminants such as: mold, algae, scale deposits, chloroform, petrochemicals, and heavy metals (lead, etc.). Effectively reduces the taste and smell of chlorine as well as other offensive contaminants that can adversely affect the taste of water and beverages. It also reduces, by mechanical means, ultra-fine sediments and particles smaller than 0.5 microns in size .
